Tape # 258
Originally recorded on 25 April, 1988
Although this tape was made as a way to compile some of my latest music purchases, some old favorites are included as well. The A side features current tracks by Echo and the Bunnymen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Robyn Hitchcock, whom I’d just met at a record store appearance in Philadelphia. Thomas Dolby, David Bowie, and the Sex Pistols are also here-- plus there’s a cover of Prince’s “Kiss” by one hit wonders Age of Chance.
