This side of the tape begins with an introduction to Esperanto, the forgotten language of world commerce. Dave Edmunds does a cover of “I Hear You Knocking”, and Nick Lowe does his biggest hit “Cruel to Be Kind.” One of my favorite Madonna tracks is here, as is my favorite Paul McCartney song ever. “Daytime Nighttime Suffering” originally appeared on the flip side of the 1979 Wings hit “Goodnight Tonight.” When it came out, I played the song so much that I actually wore out the grooves, and had to buy a new copy! Also here is the theme song from the best television program ever, “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” done by Man or Astroman? (See the links below for the original theme and for more information).
